Slakey Brothers is looking for dynamic, self-starters to service established accounts and expand sales further. Responsibilities include providing excellent service to established accounts, sourcing and selling new accounts, and ensuring superior customer service. Extensive training will be provided.
Become a trusted partner to new and existing HVAC contractors in the greater Medford, Oregon market and increase sales and Slakey’s reputation within the market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Promotion:
•Develop and maintain relationships with existing Branded dealers, and develop new business where appropriate, by selling, training, educating, and, guiding Contractors and Owners about products and business practice through planned regular sales calls.
•Attend and coordinate training both locally and throughout the region.
•Communicate new product offerings and product updates to customers.
•Track all quoted projects and follow up with customers to earn the sale. Provide feedback on product pricing, quality, and customer satisfaction.
•Gain industry knowledge and product expertise through corporate training, field experience and self-motivated learning.
•Provide training to Inside Sales Representatives to educate team members on product updates or introductions.
•Leverages all company resources to provide customer solutions which will lead to sales growth.
•Exhibits the highest standards of leadership, integrity and professionalism.
•Maintains professional conduct and or image to all internal and external customers.
•Review sales and profit reports to determine current sales status of the territory with the Regional Equipment Sales Manager.
•Be an advocate for customers and Slakey in all business interactions.
2. Quotes and Pricing:
•Works with Inside Sales team to develop bids and provides customers with price quotes for jobs within Company guidelines and procedures.
•Negotiates prices and services with customers with the Company’s best interests in mind and obtains management approval for pricing or services outside of Company guidelines.
•Provides quotes on special order items, applying pricing and product knowledge.
•Follows up on jobs to determine status and competitive position. Prepares submittals as needed.
•Works with inside sales team to determine product availability and to find source for non-stock products in response to customer requests.
3.Customer Service and Support:
•Coordinates customers’ jobs with inside sales team to order and release products in phases. Estimates time of delivery to customer and assures prompt arrival of job order products, including scheduling direct shipments as appropriate.
•Listens to, investigates, and resolves customer complaints about product, price, or service. Makes highly independent decisions to resolve customer complaints, problems, and warranty issues, and depending on the customer, communicates resolution to supervisor and regional sales manager.
•At the direction of management, meets with customers to request and receive payments when account is past due.
•Maintains current working knowledge on existing and new products/services and other general information to ensure accurate information is provided.
•Consults with inside sales team, vendors or uses catalogs and computer to research and respond to inquiries on specific items.
•Maintains supply of product literature and provides to customers upon request.
•Advises customers regarding product warranty policies
•Coordinates or provides sales or technical product training to employees and customer.
