The Inventory Control Supervisor recommends and implements best methods and procedures available for most efficient warehouse operations and advises and trains employees on warehouse procedures.
The warehouse supervisor will also recommend or initiate actions in order to motivate employees, make improvements, increase productivity and achieve metric goals. Recommends and initiates personnel actions with management approval, including pay changes, promotions, transfers, demotions, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Mentors employees to build foundations for career paths and success, ensures a safe and positive work environment, including operation of equipment and safe material handling methods. Listens to, investigates and resolves customer/branch complaints regarding damaged products, products, product storage, or errors in product receipts.
3 - 5 years Supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution center.
Previous leadership experience with a focus in inventory control highly desired.
Inventory Control experience required.
Heavy industrial equipment operational and working knowledge.
Consistently walks in an environment that can be hot, cold, and dusty.
High School Diploma required.
Current MHE certification desired.
